Participation Waiver & Release

Please read carefully before completing your registration.

1. Assumption of Risk

By registering for **Barefoot on Farm**, I acknowledge that the program involves physical activity on a 25-acre outdoor property. I understand that participation includes inherent risks such as, but not limited to:

  • Uneven terrain, mud, and natural elements found on a farm.
  • Activities including archery, gardening, hiking, and water play.
  • Exposure to sun, heat, insects, and seasonal weather changes.

I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks of loss, property damage, or personal injury that may be sustained by the participant.

2. Parent & Participant Responsibilities

I agree to the following conditions of participation to ensure the safety of the camp community:

  • Health Disclosure: I will accurately report all medical conditions and allergies.
  • Nut-Free Compliance: I acknowledge that the camp is a nut-free facility and assume responsibility for the contents of the participant's home-packed meals.
  • Behavioral Expectations: Participants are expected to follow safety boundaries, especially regarding farm equipment and water activities.
  • Footwear Safety: I am responsible for ensuring the participant arrives with mandatory closed-toe shoes for hiking and sports.

3. Medical Authorization

In the event of an emergency, I authorize **Barefoot on Farm** staff (trained in First Aid and CPR-C) to seek medical treatment for the participant if a parent or guardian cannot be reached immediately.

4. Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and discharge **Barefoot on Farm**, its founders, and employees from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during participation in camp activities.

5. Media Release Agreement

At **Barefoot on Farm**, we love capturing the "grit spirit" and joy of our campers as they explore the 25-acre property. By agreeing to this waiver, I understand and agree to the following:

  • Grant of Rights: I grant **Barefoot on Farm** the irrevocable right to take photographs and video recordings of the participant during camp activities.
  • Usage: These materials may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to the camp website, social media, brochures, and digital advertisements.
  • Ownership: I understand that all such images and recordings remain the property of **Barefoot on Farm** and that no compensation will be provided for their use.
  • Privacy: We prioritize the safety of our campers; last names will never be published alongside photos without explicit secondary consent.
Note for Parents: If you wish to opt-out of the Media Release for privacy reasons, please notify us in writing at [Your Email] prior to the first day of camp. We will provide your child with a specific colored lanyard to ensure our media team knows to exclude them from photography.

By proceeding with registration and payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms above.
